Dubois County PRIDE's mission is to empower and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and promote allyship in Dubois County, Indiana.  Our vision is to create a safe and inclusive environment where individuals can express their true selves and receive the resources they need to thrive. 

In partnership with community allies, we celebrate the diversity and resilience of the LGBTQ+ community and strive to create opportunities to come together and celebrate their unique identities. Through advocacy and education, together we aim to break down barriers and promote equality for all members of the community. We are dedicated to building a stronger and more united community, where everyone can live proudly and authentically, and celebrate their true selves.

Dubois County PRIDE welcomes the participation of all, regardless of age, gender, gender identification, national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, and regardless of ability. 

The first Pride event took place in Jasper, IN on June 18, 2019, at the Jasper Pool.  This inaugural event was organized in just a few short weeks by members of ONE-Dubois County.  Attendance and excitement exceeded all expectations and set the stage for an annual event.  Unfortunately, the 2020 event was canceled due to the pandemic.  The second event took place on June 25, 2021, at Jaycee Park and Jasper Pool with attendance estimated at 400+.  The event continued to grow in 2022 with an even bigger celebration on June 24th again at Jaycee Park and Jasper Pool.  2022 attendance was estimated at 800+.

In 2023, Dubois County PRIDE, Inc. became a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a Board of Directors for governance.  The 2023 Festival took place at the Jasper Riverwalk - Dave Buehler Plaza with an estimated 1,200+ attendees.
